I am using aluminum foil as the base for this piece. I have already affixed a section of paper towel with white wax.

Staining the paper towel with coffee results in a good effect; using tissue paper for gift bags does not. Introduced two earth-tone candles to the palette.

Added a layer with pigment included. Attempting to fill in around edges.

Dryer lint is very absorbent and requires a lot of wax. It also darkens the medium so the new color is not quite evident.

Another new color and another new material. Cheesecloth has a openness about it that reminds one that there is often more within than without.
